This is the lagoon view of Horn Pond Conservation Area from the walkway. I live 50 feet from Horn Pond and it is where i send much of my free time. This shot was taken right after one of the many snow storms we had this winter, and I think it typifies New England Winter with the blue blue skies, the white snow, and the barren tree branches. It is stark and yet more enclosed than other Winter landscapes.
